After the
DWB Bracket Tournament, many of
our Squirrel Pals were looking for some rest before their big rescue
operation, so we put together a Haunted Squirrel for Halloween.
It was an interactive Twitter event that lasted from for 7 days.
There was a
leaderboard and prizes to be
awarded.
We enlisted in our friend, the mysterious Squirrel Carnival Host to
lead the Carnival. But things started getting crazy from there! The
Carney Host went rogue and took control of the carnival.
And now the fate of these Squirrels were in the hands of their
owners…
The Haunted Carnival is here and the squirrels are out to play!
With so many delicious smells, interesting sounds, and amazing
sights, it's hard to choose where to go first, but after intense
deliberation they’ve settled on a choice.

Squirrel owners had three attitudes to vote:
💪 Confidently
😎 Nonchalantly
😅 Sheepishly
All the Confident squirrels earned a nice ribbon. Chad move.
All the squirrels who selected the Nonchalant approach really gave Tom Cruise in Risky Business energy and it was cringe.
All the squirrels who selected the Sheepish approach missed the target entirely. Waste of effort, much?
As some squirrels rejoice in their win, and others pout in their
defeat. The squirrels meander their way through the crowd and land
on a dirty-looking Dunk Tank. The carney says:
“Some schmuck named Gus didn’t show up for his shift! Can any of you
squirrels fill in? I’ll make it worth your while!”
The squirrels look around at each other nervously. Holder’s had to
make… a DECISION.
Do holders think their squirrels are brave enough to lend an hour of their time to freelance as the Haunted Carnival dunkee?
All squirrels who decided to freelance as a dunkee have been gifted a Carney Green Potion!
All squirrels who decided not to freelance as a dunkee did not receive any gifts, but scored a few fun dunks on their friends who volunteered.
With their tummies rumbling, the squirrels have stumbled upon a
CANDY CORN EATING CONTEST that's just about to start. Excited, the
squirrels deliberate on whether to take part.
One squirrel starts foaming at the mouth while another puts their
nose up repugnantly.
Holders now had to make a decision, will their squirrel bravely take part in the Candy Corn Eating Contest?
Squirrels that decided to drink that mysterious carney potion they received from the Dunk Tank started sporting a weird glow…
All squirrels who mustered up the courage to partake receive a Candy Corn Trophy!
The squirrels that didn’t participate did not get a trophy. But they were cheering on their friends participating in the eating contest!
What’s this? OH NO! QUICK GET OUT OF THE WAY!
The following squirrels threw up.
The next event featured three rides that the Carney was opening.

The squirrels must choose wisely.
The Haunted Rides have commenced.
Those that chose the Ferris Wheel were bored to death, but nothing
happened.
Those that chose The Tilt-a-Whirl were scared sh*tless on the ride, but made it out just a little braver than before.
Those that selected The Haunted House struggled, but made it out just a little bit braver (with less need for therapy!)
Oh no! What’s this! Several more squirrels threw up aggressively and
lost 5 points. This will require a large clean-up…
The Squirrels make their way to the CLOWN DOWN. There are two options.. shall we choose the creepy or regular one?
With just a few days to Halloween, the Squirrels were ready.
Those that chose the Regular Clown Down won a cute plushy and
points.
Those that selected the Creepy Clown Down accidentally destroyed the home of a nice family of face-painters that were living in the abandoned stall!
The Haunted Carnival continues to delight and confuse the squirrels,
but as Halloween draws near, they decide to stop at an Arts and
Crafts booth to do a classic Halloween tradition:
"Let's carve pumpkins!"
